OK so who caught this weekend’s Battlestar Galactica? Hmm?? anyone?? Did you miss it because it’s on at 10pm now on a Sunday night (What the frak is all that about anyhow?). Well if you missed it - you missed one helluva episode…

ok.. so if you already watched the episode you should be reading this part. Yes.. Starbuck is gone. Is she dead? No one knows for sure. It’s hard to tell from the video footage. But we’ve reached the point in the third season where something “big” was going to happen to the series. It had been rumored for some time that Starbuck might bite the big one but what isn’t clear is whether she’s dead.. or just somewhere else.
What is clear is - this was a fitting way for Starbuck to go. An episode which deals with her own inner demons and her inner conflicts. As I remember reading from someone else’s blog commentary (which I can’t seem to remember right now), she has her moment with all the major characters in the show that matter to her - from Admiral Adama to Helo to Anders to Lee. So in some way, she had her goodbyes to everyone that mattered to her. Now.. it’s off to the great unknown for her, the crew, and in many ways the show.
So the questions remain. Is she dead? Is she one of the five? Is she really a cylon? What the frak is going on? Here’s TV Addict.com’s take on the episode.
