What I’ve been up to
Man it’s been a busy few weeks hasn’t it? This month of November must have been every gadget lovers dream come true! Think about it for a second..
The Xbox 360 got a ton of new announcements including:
- New games like Call of Duty 3 and Gears of War
- A new HD DVD player add on which I also reviewed here at Krunker.com
- And of course, the new downloadable television shows and movies via Xbox Live which should go LIVE today actually.
Meanwhile, the world awaited for the launch of the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii last week and weekend. Yvonne and I headed out to the West LA location of BestBuy and interviewed some of the people standing in line at the BestBuy - many for days on end. Considering what happened to customers at other BestBuy and retailer locations around the country, this lineup was actually quite smooth.
And of course, I’ve been busy with Zune related activities. Yes, I also run ZuneSphere.com and with that, I was busy covering the preview party and the launch party held here in Los Angeles. There were several other parties around the country and you can find additional information at ZuneSphere.com.
As for the Zune itself - well yes I have one and yes I’m currently reviewing it. I’ve yet to post the review but there are plenty of reviews out there for you to peruse through. I’d like to make one point clear - Microsoft never said the Zune was an iPod killer device.. and yes.. it’s far from being that. However, IMHO, it’s a pretty darn good music player!
One last thing - Microsoft Vista comes out at the end of this month to businesses. People who have access to MSDN can already get Vista and I’ve posted a look at the Windows Media Center component of Vista Ultimate here at Krunker.com.
Yet ONE MORE thing to talk about - We recently got a new Sony camcorder and that’s been the basis for my many new videos that I’ve been posting up on YouTube. Enjoy those flicks! I’m thinking about emphasizing more and more on video reviews. Think it’s a good idea?
What else is happening - work has been a lot of fun AND very busy. Get ready for some exciting stuff to come out from my company over the next 12 months. I’m certainly psyched!
In the meantime, my blogs will continue to grow.. and I’m going to consolidate them under one umbrella called Krunker Media (which already has a website of course).
Anyhow, that’s it for now.. I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Stay safe and enjoy the time with friends and family!
