Today was just one of those days..
Today was just one of those days where one wished they had stayed in bed. A water main line broke down the block from our apartment building. This caused the water to back up underground and resulted in water flooding into the basement garage of our building. Unfortunately, Yvonne and I both park our cars in the basement portion of the garage and thus water flowed all over our cars. Water got into the cabin of my G35 and I’m sure it got into both Yvonne’s chassis and mine as well.
Not only was there a flood downstairs but power was knocked out to the entire building since the transformer inside the building was blown by the water. Ugh. There was about 2-3 inches of water inside my car and the carpeting was literally soaked after all the water finally drained out. Yvonne and I took both are cars to the local car wash and we got it fully detailed. Yes - we’re going to file claims to LA DWP! I will be taking my car to the dealership in the morning to see if there were any other hidden damages.
