It’s been some time..
I’m taking a break here at work to update my blog. It’s been some time since I last posted on the site. I think the last time I actually wrote something, I was on the road in Toronto in the middle of my vacation. Well the vacation was fun - Yvonne and I went from LA to NYC to Toronto back to NYC and then back to LA. While in Toronto, we met up with the rest of the DSTS Volleyball team and I watched them play in the annual Chinese tournament. Both teams did fairly well with Team 1 ending up in the semifinals of the Silver bracket and Team 2 ending their run in the Gold bracket.
I got a chance to catch up with some of my friends from NYC once we got back to the city after Toronto. However, the most important event happened before the trip to Toronto even began. Yvonne and I got engaged on August 27th in NYC. It wasn’t the most romantic of settings unfortunately and my original ideas didn’t pan out but nevertheless we got engaged and that in itself is the most wonderful event ever. I’ll post up the email that I sent to my friends and family next but I just wanted to share this awesome bit of news.
