One more day to vball
It’s now Friday and that means it’s one more day until the start of the 61st NACIVT Volleyball tournament here in Toronto. Yvonne and I spent the better part of the day over at the Canadian National Exhibition which wasn’t too far from where we are staying. What’s the Canadian National Exhibition? Well to you Americans out there - it’s basically a glorified state fair except at the city level. There were TONS of games and food booths.. and well. games and food booths. I think Yvonne ended up winning around 4-5 stuffed animals while I won only a paltry 2. Fooey!
The teams just had their captain’s meetings down here in the lobby of our hotel so I’m taking a break up here writing away. Soon it will be dinner and then I think there’s clubbing planned. Then tomorrow at 7:45 am, representatives from each team are supposed to be marching to the convention center. Some dignitaries will be speaking and then the games will begin at 9am. Fun times ahead!
