All You Can Eat Baby!
“All You Can Eat Baby!” - Those were the words of Meng the Master Ngyuyen as he recently went all-in in a World Poker Tour episode on the Travel Channel. Those same words described today’s Poker Tournament held by DSTS at Hutch’s BBQ in Pasadena. The ladies of DSTS held a no-limit Texas Holden Tourney which started at around 4:30pm and lasted up until 10ish pm. Not only was it a no-limit tourney, people who came by could eat All-You-Can-Eat BBQ!! How cool is that?
As for myself, I went all in a number of times and managed to find myself placing fourth in the overal field of approximately 60+ players. That’s WAY better than how I thought I would play. At one point entering the final table, I was actually the chip stack leader. Unfortunately I made a bad all-in call with the low pair thinking that my opponent was bluffing. The lessons learned I say! Overall though, it was a good turnout for the event and I thank everyone for showing up to the tourney. Until next time.. ALL YOU CAN EAT BABY!
