James Doohan dead at the age of 85
James Doohan, best known for the character “Scotty” on Star Trek, died at the age of 85 yrs old early this morning in his Redmond, Washington home. He had been fighting pneumonia as well as Alzheimer’s disease during that time. I will forever remember famous quotes from Scotty such as:
“I can’t change the laws of physics!”
“Laddy.. don’t you think you should rephrase that?!”
“Up your shaft!”
“A keyboard.. How quaint!”
“N C C 1 7 0 1 .. No bloody A, B, C, or D!”
