Weekend summary
This was an interesting and long weekend. Friday night - subbed for Yumi’s vball team over at Fairfax HS and didn’t do all that well. (Sorry Yumi!) I kept taping my shots or getting blocked. I swear.. the coed nets at Fairfax are higher than the coed nets at Elder. I think my vertical blows!
After vball, a bunch of us headed over to a house party in SM. OMG - the house was huge (I’m envious) but alas, I didn’t know a whole lot of people.
Sat - grass vball in Arcadia even though the day was kinda icky! On one play, I slid on my left leg and my knee locked up on the grass. It just wasn’t my day I tell you. My knee’s been hurting since so I’m now using a knee brace temporarily.
Sat night - MORE POKER.. Ugh.. are we sick of this game yet? Apparently not. I only won one tourney. The most memorable play was getting busted by Karen with her 4 Jacks. WHAT THE HECK!?!?!?
Sunday - worked and played on Yvonne’s vball team (which we ended up going 3-1 for the night). Had a strawberry smoothie from Alan’s friend, Wei (spelling?), Sunday night who was visiting Alan and the SoCal area. Afterwards, I finished up my MBO document for work. (MBO is Management by Objectives).
