Sitting too close to the TV is NOT bad for your eyes


The old wives’ tale that sitting too close to the TV is bad for your eyes is just not true in this day and age. Back in the early days of television when television sets emitted larger amounts of radiation, this tale might have been true. However, nowadays TV sets have plenty of radiation shielding thereby causing no real harm to people. The only harm that a television set (or a computer monitor) may cause is eyestrain. The remedy here? Take a break every so often and look at something else.
