Thanks for the comments.. I have to wonder sometimes if Ron Moore really means what he says? You could be right though because when I think back to something like Deep Space Nine.. the Dominion arc never ended quite right. There was this long multi-year war and then BAM - it all ends on Cardassia with the J'emhadar killing millions and the Founders having convienently cntracted the disease set forth by Section 31. It wrapped up a bit too quickly (though not easily)... and I certainly hope BSG doesn't go down that route either.

I think Ron Moore is actually a little bit careless. He does not have a grand vision of the show. Listen to the last podcast. He says that in the first draft, Baltar meets God (Dirk Benedict - the original Starbuck) while Jimmy Hendrix music is playing and some guy says “Hi I’m God”. Ron liked it apparently as he thought it was “wacky”. He admits to not knowing where it would go after that (thank God he was talked out of it). This means that he has no grand vision of what the Cylon's are doing. It can be dangerous...

I love the show, maybe too much. I think it would be sad if Ron Moore puts stuff into the show just to see what happens. Fans of thsi show are somewhat smart and will not like inconsistencies. I have read many similar complaints in the forums...

Very nice post about the show BTW :)
