Craigslist goes out into space
Beam me up scotty! Ok - not really but how about “Beam up this website?” On March 11th, a company called Deep Space Communications Network beamed the first commercial transmission of a web site into space and it was none other than Craigslist.com. Thousands of craigslist posting were sent out into space hoping to find a listening ear .. or whatever it might be that is out there. E.T. Phone Home?
